According to German paper Bild, Bayern Munich are closing in on signing Riyad Mahrez who has grown frustrated with lack of first team football at Manchester City.
The 28-year-old Algeria international have missed City's last four games {including the 2-0 win over Manchester United} which has irritated him and his representatives.
Fed up with playing second fiddle to Bernando Silve and others, Mahrez has decided to listen to offers from various clubs have questioned including Europe's elite club Bayern Munich.
With Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery and James Rodriquez all expected to leave the Bavarian giants this summer, Mahrez will have little or no competition to play football and at the end of the season win trophies.
But Pep Guardiola still has faith in Mahrez and has pleaded with him to stay without guaranteeing him first team football.
Signing Mahrez won't be cheap, he will cost any club interested in his service $55m to 60m.
Baywants him to stay but wit without a guarantee that he will one day break into the first team, Mahrez has decided to make his hay while the sun is bright.
