According to the Mail, Manchester City have wrapped up the signing of Atletico Madrid star Rodri.
City reportedly paid his £65m buy out clause and will officially announce his arrival on Monday after months of tense negotiation with At. Madrid.
The 22-year-old Spanish international is seen by Pep Guardiola as the long term replacement of Fernandinho who recently turned 34 and now developing fatigue and injuries.
He is also seen as Sergio Busquets' long-term successor in the Spain national team.
Rodri is known for his excellent ball recovery, superb ball distribution, powerful tackling and long range shooting.
Already, At. Madrid have signed his replacement in Marcos Llorente for £36m and given him his jersey number 14.
