Chelsea players will share a massive £11 million in bonuses if they manage to complete an FA Cup and Champions League double in the next three weeks.
On Wednesday night, Thomas Tuchel's side booked their place in this season's Champions League final with a 2-0 victory over Real Madrid.
The Premier League side were so much better than their opponents that by the end even one of Real's players was celebrating the victory, with Eden Hazard receiving quite the backlash for enjoying time with some old friends.
It booked Chelsea a date with Manchester City in the final, after Pep Guardiola's side beat PSG on Tuesday, and May 29th will be the second all Premier League final in three years.
According to the Daily Mail, even getting to the final has earned the players a share of a £5 million bonus pot and it could get even better.
Should they beat the side they beat just three weeks ago to reach the FA Cup final then they'll be an extra £5 million to share.
On top of that, a win in the final against Leicester City on May 15th would see N'Golo Kante, Timo Werner, Mason Mount et al pick up a share of another £1 million.
Chelsea players all share bonuses equally from a pool so each member of the match day squad stands to earn around £500,000 for winning the Champions League.
However some of their opponents may be due to earn more if they manage to capture their club's first ever European title.
City players negotiate their bonuses separately when signing their contracts and the Premier League champions in waiting could pay out around £15 million for completing what would be a treble.
Kevin de Bruyne would earn £1 million should he help Guardiola's team to beat Chelsea in three weeks, whilst others would be closer to the mark Tuchel's players will earn.
The two teams, who face each other in the Premier League on Sunday, where City could become league champions if they win, are due to play in the Ataturk Arena in the Champions League final.
There has been calls for the game to be moved from Istanbul for the second year running, in order to cut down on the fans traveling to a foreign country during the pandemic.
