Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is training his team for tonight's Europa League match against Roma.

Manchester United's match against Roma in the Europa League may be the last chance saloon for four players in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad.

The Red Devils are rumored to be interested in signing Jadon Sancho, Erling Haaland, Declan Rice, and Raphael Varane this summer in order to free up funds.

Express Sport takes a look at the four players battling for their futures ahead of the match at the Stadio Olimpico.

De Gea, David

David De Gea has been on United's books since 2011.

Despite being one of the club's best signings, he has slipped down Solskjaer's pecking order since the birth of his daughter in February.

The Spain international is currently second in the pecking order behind Dean Henderson, who looks likely to remain in goal for the near future.

United cannot afford to let De Gea, who earns £375,000 per week, sit on the bench.

So, if he begins the fight, this may be one of his last appearances.

Tuanzebe, Axel

Axel Tuanzebe has had a tough season, with injury restricting the 23-year-old to only six Premier League appearances.

Eric Bailly recently signed a new deal with the Red Devils, which would only add to his competition for opportunities.

Tuanzebe could be sold with Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire both becoming first-choice under Solskjaer, and Varane possibly arriving this summer.

Aston Villa has been linked with the center-back, who previously shone in the Midlands for two years.

And United may be about to bid farewell to their academy graduate at the end of the season.

Donny van de Beek.

Donny van de Beek was signed for £40 million by Manchester United in the summer.

And, although the Dutch international is undeniably talented, he has failed to make an impact in the Premier League this season.

Van de Beek has been linked with Borussia Dortmund, with the Bundesliga club interested in signing him this season.

A strong showing against Roma could persuade Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to keep him.

However, considering his inability to unseat Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba in the future, a parting of ways might make sense for all parties involved.

 Alex Telles,

Alex Telles was another player who joined United in the summer.

Nonetheless, he, like Van de Beek, has spent the bulk of his Old Trafford career on the bench.

There has been speculation about a possible transfer to Italy, with Juventus and Inter Milan emerging as potential suitors.

Telles is a valuable asset to have because of his experience and offensive style of play, but unless he plays more, he can look for a way out.

And this summer might be the ideal time for him to try his luck somewhere else.

Solskjaer defended the Glazers ahead of the match against Roma, saying he has their support.

On Sunday, fans demonstrated against the Americans, causing their Premier League match against Liverpool to be postponed.

And, according to Solskjaer, "often frictions and obstacles will drive things forward." The last few weeks have been difficult.

"I must admit, I've had help. I've been placed in charge and am in charge of football matters, and I understand that fans want to see trophies and improvement.

"Hopefully, we'll be able to get to a final tomorrow; that'll be the short-term patch, and we'll go from there."
