Arsenal target Mykhailo Mudryk has travelled with the Shakhtar Donetsk squad as they head for their winter training camp in Turkey.
The Ukraine international is understood to be Mikel Arteta's priority for the January transfer window as Arsenal look to strengthen their attack for a Premier League title tilt.
Chelsea have also held discussions with Shakhtar over a possible move for the 22-year-old winger.
Arsenal have already tabled two bids - the second worth up to £62million - for Mudryk, who has made clear his desire to join the north London club.
But on Tuesday, the Ukraine international joined up with his team-mates as they continued their preparations for the second half of the domestic season.
Speaking after Monday night's FA Cup victory over Oxford United, Arsenal boss Arteta reaffirmed their desire to bring in attacking reinforcements following an injury to Gabriel Jesus.
'The problem is that we have only one striker and to cope for that many months until Gabby is back is not easy,' he said.
'But we have to get the most out of the players that we have at the moment. If we can have some reinforcements, great.'
